http://www.elliotjaystocks.com

I really enjoy the formatt of elliot's website. He uses his blog as the main homepage of the site. The top of the blog page contains links to his portfolio, contact info, and an about me section. He also has an unfinished page called "the vault", which will contain tutorials and downloads. This section could be very help to people looking to learn about certain techniques.

Darren Ansley's site is very simple and easy to navigate, and this is what I am looking to do in my site. He named his site supercharged, but I think his name should be more noticeable on the homepage.

I enjoy the simple layout of this site, but I think the navigation buttons should be on the left side of the page instead of the right. I also like the large thumbnails of a few of his works on the main page. They instantly catch your eye and make you want to see the rest of the work.

I found most of these portfolio sites at blinklist.com. Many of the sites i found there helped me to visualize what I want my site to look like. It also helped me realize what I should avoid when creating my portfolio.
